Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa�s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.

TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Conference USA Announces Commissioner's Honor Roll

Hurricane has 198 student-athletes honored

AT TULSA - A three-year letterwinner . . . has participated in 19 career regattas.

JUNIOR (2011-12) - Participated in four regattas . . . wasn't able to compete during the majority of the season due to surgery and rehabilitation of her leg.

SOPHOMORE (2010-11) - Participated in seven regattas . . . raced the Second Varsity 8+ to a second-place Grand Final finish at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship . . . at the Conference USA Championship, registered a fifth-place mark in the Second Varsity 8+ Grand Final.

FRESHMAN (2009-10) - Participated in eight regattas . . . coxed the Novice 4+ to a gold medal finish at the Boot of the Oklahoma . . . at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship, captured a gold medal in the Novice 4+ . . . named TU's Dan Bitson Courage Award recipient.

PRIOR TO TULSA - Was a three-year letterwinner in rowing at C.D. Hylton Senior High School . . . coxed the women's Lightweight 4+ to a sixth-place mark as a sophomore, and fifth-place performances as a junior and senior at the Virginia State Championships . . . coxed the Men's Novice 4+ as a freshman.
