Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

AT TULSA - A four-year letterwinner . . . participated in 33 career regattas.
SENIOR (2011-12) - Participated in six regattas . . . raced the Collegiate 8+ `A' to a fourth-place finish in the 500-Meter Grand Final Sprint at the Head of the Oklahoma . . . assisted the Second Varsity 8+ to wins over Kansas, Kansas State and Central Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Invitational . . . raced the Second Varsity 8+ to a top mark at the Lawless Cup.
JUNIOR (2010-11) - Participated in 10 regattas . . . helped the Collegiate 8+ post a sixth-place time of 1:41.50 in the Grand Final Sprints at the Head of the Oklahoma . . . raced the Second Varsity 8+ to a second-place Grand Final finish at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship . . . at the Conference USA Championship, registered a fifth-place mark in the Second Varsity 8+ Grand Final.
SOPHOMORE (2009-10) - Participated in nine regattas . . . at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship, assisted the Second Varsity 8+ to a fourth-place Grand Final finish.
FRESHMAN (2008-09) - Rowed in eight regattas . . . assisted the Club 4+ to a sixth-place mark at the Head of the Charles . . . captured gold medals in the Novice 4+ and 2nd Novice 8+ at the Wichita Frostbite . . . in the Novice 8+, earned a gold medal at the Lawless Cup, a silver medal at the Midwest Intercollegiate Rowing Championship and a bronze medal at the Knecht Cup.
PRIOR TO TULSA - Was a three-year letterwinner in rowing at Shaker High School . . . claimed a gold medal in the Varsity 4+ and a second-place finish in the Varsity 8+ at the Lift Bridge Regatta as a senior . . . also during her senior campaign, claimed second-place marks in the Junior 8+ and Junior 4+ at the Head of the Hudson, and a fourth-place finish in the Eight at the Head of the Housatonic . . . earned a second-place mark at the New York State Section 2 Championship in the Varsity 4+ and a fourth-place finish in the Eight at the Stotesbury Cup as a junior . . . as a freshman in the Novice 8+ recorded a top time at the New York State Section 2 Championship, and second-place marks at the Scholastic Rowing Championship and Saratoga Invitational.
PERSONAL - An exercise sports science major . . . born December 27, 1989 . . . daughter of Kenneth and Sandra Urquhart . . . her sister, Melissa, is also a rower at TU . . . was named to the Tulsa Athletic Director's Honor Roll as a freshman and senior . . . was tabbed to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll as a freshman.
In eight years as a member of Conference USA, Tulsa athletic teams have won a league-best 48 conference championships.
