Tulsa Rowing Team Moves into Top-25
April 19, 2001 Indianapolis, Indiana - The University of Tulsa women's rowing team broke into the top-25 in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Varsity Eight Coaches Poll. The Hurricane is ranked 25th nationally with eight points. Brown University remains the nation's number-one ranked team with 478 points and 22 first-place votes, followed by Michigan, Princeton, Southern Cal and Washington to round out the top-five teams. USRowing, in conjunction with the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) will conduct weekly polls for Women's NCAA Division I Collegiate Varsity Eights and Women's NCAA Division II/III Collegiate Varsity Eights throughout the season. Tulsa is in action this weekend, April 21-22,at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
