Irving, Texas - The Tulsa Varsity 4+ was selected as the Conference USA Boat of the Week, as announced today by the league office. This is the first C-USA Boat of the Week honor for the Golden Hurricane crew.

TU dominated its race at the Sixth Annual Lawless Cup at the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest in Catoosa, Okla., last weekend. The `A' boat of Elissa Stiles, Kelly Hill, Meredith Papps, Zoe Fleischmann and Jourdan Kondrat posted a time of 6:11.42, followed by TU's Varsity 4+ `B' at 6:36.34 and SMU with a time of 7:42.80. The `A' boat recorded the largest margin of victory on the day with a 91-second lead over the Mustangs.

The Tulsa rowing team captured top finishes in all four events on the 1,250-meter course at the Lawless Cup.
