Irving, Texas -

Tulsa's Zoe Fleischmann and Brooke Helmberger were named to the Conference USA Rowing All-Academic Team, as announced today by the league office. Student-athletes must have a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore in class standing and be a significant contributor to the team.

"I am really excited for Zoe and Brooke," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "They are fantastic student-athletes who work hard in the classroom and in their boat. Their work this season in the Varsity 8+ has been magnificent and I am really pleased with how they have taken on being rowers at Tulsa. I am glad that they were recognized for their accomplishments and I am looking forward to them getting their awards at the conference championship next week."

Fleischmann, a junior from Aberdeen, Scotland, maintains a 3.82 GPA in chemistry and is a member of TU's Varsity 8+.
