Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa senior rower Stephanie Rogers was named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Pocock All-America Second Team, as announced by the same organization. Rogers is Tulsa's first Rowing All-American since the inception of the sport at TU in 1996-97.

The honor recognizes the outstanding performances of rowers and coxswains on the national level in women's collegiate rowing. The honorees must have rowed in at least 75-percent of the current spring season's races in a varsity boat, and are selected on their institution's varsity eight finish within the country, coaches nomination and their 2k erg score.

Rogers, a senior from Stillwater, Okla., was a member of the Varsity 8+ the last three years, and helped the Hurricane record wins over Kansas, Kansas State, Central Oklahoma and SMU this season. She also guided TU to a fifth-place Grand Final finish at the 2012 San Diego Crew Classic and the 2012 Conference USA Championship.

Rogers was also selected to the CRCA All-South Region Second Team earlier this season.
