Tulsa, Oklahoma - Five Tulsa rowers, including Marissa Catalanotto, Angela Metzler, Jamie Roloff, Emalia Seto and Colleen Wohlrab, were named 2014 Intercollegiate Rowing Association All-Academic Honorees.

For a student-athlete to be eligible, he or she must be at least a sophomore in standing and completed one full year at his or her respective institution, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 or higher, earn an institutional letter, and compete at the 2014 Intercollegiate Rowing Association Regatta. A total of 253 student-athletes from 28 institutions were honored.

"I am really excited for our lightweight rowers to have earned this recognition from the IRA," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "We have an amazing group of athletes at TU and these women are representative of the academic success of our whole team. It's great that they are being recognized for their work in the classroom and on the water."

These five women were an integral part of Tulsa's Lightweight 8+, which finished second in the Petite Final at the IRA National Championship in June.
