A trio of University of Tulsa women rowers were selected as National Scholar-Athlete award winners as presented by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA). Brandi Woodson, Emily Saul and Jennifer Smith, all juniors, were honored with the academic award, while Saul was also named to the CRCA all-Central Region second team.

   Woodson maintains a 4.00 grade point average in philosophy, while Smith also has a 4.00 grade point average in speech pathology. Saul has maintained a 3.79 grade point average in psychology.

   Smith was the coxswain on the First Varsity-8 boat, while Woodson and Saul were members of the First Varsity-8 boat. All three rowers also raced in Varsity-4 competition.
