The University of Tulsa women's rowing team raced at the Tenth Annual Head of the Iowa Regatta Sunday, October 29th. The race featured over 1,100 competitors made up of college/university and club teams.

The varsity-8 boat had the highest finish of the eight TU boats, finishing fourth in a field of 24 total boats. Their time was 14:51, 48 seconds behind Iowa. The novice-4 boat placed 13th out of 24 boats, with a time of 20:06. The novice-8 boats placed 10th, with a time of 17:05, and 24th, with a time of 18:33, in a field of 34 skulls.

Tulsa raced three open pair boats, placing 11th, 12th, and 15th out of 18 boats. The open-4 boat finished 11th out of 17 boats, with a time of 17:35.

The regatta hosts, University of Iowa, won three of the five races. The University of Wisconsin placed three boats in first or second in three events.
