Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa rowers will conclude the fall slate on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 5-6, at the Head of the Hooch Regatta in Chattanooga, Tenn. The regatta is a 5,000-meter head race on the Tennessee River.

"The Head of the Hooch features some of the best teams from the South and, more specifically, C-USA so this is a big competition for us," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "It allows us to see where we sit versus our competitors after a good two months of training in the fall. It's also a good time to try out different combinations over two days and see how the team is rowing with "live" repetitions. The women have been training really well this fall. Their spirit is high and we are all excited to see how well they will row this weekend."

TU will race 17 boats in eight events, including the Lightweight 4+, Novice 4+, Championship 4+, Lightweight 8+ and Championship 8+ on Saturday, and the Lightweight 1x, Open 2- and Open 8+ on Sunday.

The Golden Hurricane will take on a number of crews, including Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Kansas, Tennessee, Texas and UCF to name a few.
