Missy Keller begins her first season as a graduate assistant for the Tulsa women's soccer team in 2005.
Keller, 24, will assist with the instruction of goalkeepers and defenders, as well as recruiting. She will be the staff liaison for academics and serve as community service coordinator for women's soccer.
Keller comes to TU from the University of Alabama, where she was a four-year letterwinner for the Crimson Tide from 1999-2002. During her collegiate career, she served as a co-captain for three seasons (2000-2002) and earned all-Southeastern Conference secondteam honors in 2000 and 2002, and received Central Region recognition in 2002.
She was named her team's Most Valuable Player in 1999 and 2002, and was selected as the Defensive MVP during both the 2000 and 2002 seasons. Keller received the Alabama Coaches Award in 2000 and 2001, and concluded her career rank second all-time for minutes played (6,719).
Keller received her bachelor's degree in Human Environmental Studies in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Social Welfare from Alabama in 2003. During her academic career at UA, she served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Board, and was selected to the SEC Honor Roll (2000-03), the Dean's List (2002-03) and the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (2000-03).
A native of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Keller will pursue a master's degree in elementary education from The University of Tulsa.
