11/03/2011 Four Tulsa Women's Soccer Players Named to C-USA All-Academic TeamsHulcer picked up first team honors TULSA - A two-year letterwinner . . . has started five of 24 games played . . . has two goals and one assist for five points. SOPHOMORE (2011) - Played in 11 games . . . scored the game-winning goal against Northwestern State . . . attempted four shots, three of which were on goal. FRESHMAN (2010) - Started five of 13 games played . . . scored a goal against Oral Roberts and picked up an assist against UALR . . . attempted six shots, two of which were on goal. PRIOR TO TULSA - Was a four-year letterwinner at Union High School . . . helped her team post a three-year 64-14-4 overall record . . . helped UHS claim back-to-back Class 6A State Championship as a freshman and sophomore, advanced to the quarterfinals her junior season and to the championship game her senior year . . . recorded 31 goals and 63 assists for 125 career points . . . was a four-time all-Frontier Conference performer . . . earned all-district and all-state honors while serving as team captain as a senior . . . during her freshman season, named as the Rookie of the Year and was the Junior Varsity MVP. PERSONAL - An elementary education major . . . born July 31, 1991 . . . daughter of Gordon and Michele Martin . . . was tabbed to the Tulsa President's List and was a C-USA All-Academic Medalist as a freshman and sophomore . . . was named to the C-USA All-Academic soccer team as a sophomore.
