Fayetteville, Arkansas - Kayla Chambers tallied the game-winning goal for Tulsa, giving the Golden Hurricane a 1-0 victory over Arkansas on Friday night at Razorback Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas. TU moved to 2-1 on the season, while the UA fell to 1-1.

Chambers' goal came in 47th minute, as she found a slot to score from eight yards out in front of the net. This was her second goal of the season and fourth career goal.

"We played a good game," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "We played with intensity and a strong work ethic for 90-percent of the game, which at the end of the day earned us a win. I challenged the team to play like that for the next 17 regular season games."

Tulsa out-shot Arkansas 10-9, and owned a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal. Kendall Harclerode recorded all 90 minutes between the posts and picked up her second shutout of the season.

Tulsa will travel to Springfield on Sunday to take on Missouri State. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at Plaster Field.
