Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to cross-town rival Oral Roberts on Tuesday night at the ORU Soccer Complex. The Golden Hurricane fell to 2-6-1 on the season, while the Golden Eagles moved to 4-4-1.

With only 2:40 left on the clock, ORU's Emily Gagnon scored the lone goal of the contest off a pass from Tara Lomas from 15 yards out.

"The girls worked hard," Head Coach Rena Richardson said. "We made one mistake and ORU capitalized on it. We are going to go back and focus on the next game."

TU out-shot ORU 19-12, including a 7-5 ratio in shots on goal. Junior goalkeeper Kendall Harclerode tallied four saves in the contest for 51 on the season.

Tulsa will return to action on Sunday, Sept. 30th against Northwestern State. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium.
