Sept. 24, 2010
Houston, Texas -
The University of Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Rice on Friday night in Houston, Texas. The Golden Hurricane fell to 5-4 on the season and 0-1 in Conference USA, while the Owls moved to 4-5 overall and 1-0 in the league.
"We played well at times tonight, but we are a young team that has to continue to get better each game," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "My hats off to Rice. They got an early goal and kept up a high-level of intensity, but it was a good game. We just need to be able to finish the chances we create."
