Tulsa Falls to Colorado College, 2-0

Colorado Springs, Colo. - The University of Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Colorado College on Sunday afternoon in Colorado Springs, Colo. TU fell to 3-5-2 on the season and 0-2 in Conference USA, while the Tigers moved to 6-3-1 overall and 2-0 in the league.
"We played well against a tough team today," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "We played a full 90 minutes and we had our chances, but we couldn't finish. I am proud of the way we played today, but we just couldn't get a goal."
Sarah Wolff put CC on the board just before the half at the 42:07 mark, and Lauren Talbot gave the Tigers a two-goal cushion as drilled one into the net in the 53rd minute.
The Tigers out-shot Tulsa, 15-9, including a 6-3 lead in shots on goal.
TU will return to action on Friday, October 2nd as Tulsa hosts Houston beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
