The Tulsa women's soccer team tied UAB, 0-0, on Friday night at West Campus Field in Birmingham, Ala. TU moved to 9-6-2 on the season and 3-3-2 in Conference USA, while the Blazers moved to 10-5-2 overall and 3-3-2 in the league.

"It was a back-and-forth game," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "I thought in the second half we took care of possession, but their goalkeeper made two big saves. We played well, but it is hard to get points on the road. I think we still hold our own destiny, but we'll have to play well and win a couple games in the home stretch. I am proud of our kids. They played well for 110 minutes and got the 10th shutout of the season."

The two teams battled for 110 minutes and combined for eight shots on goal, but neither team could find the back of the net.

Bradi Hinch and Kajal Parmar led the Tulsa attack with two shots apiece, while four others had one attempt. Hayley Harryman logged all 110 minutes between the posts, recorded three saves and earned her ninth shutout on the season.

UAB had a 12-8 lead in shots, but TU had a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal and an 11-3 lead in corner kicks.

Tulsa will return to action on Sunday, October 27th against Marshall. Game time is set for 12:00 pm Central in Huntington, W.Va.
