Tulsa Women's Soccer Team Tops Central Oklahoma, 3-0, in Exhibition

The University of Tulsa women's soccer team recorded a 3-0 win over Central Oklahoma in an exhibition contest on Saturday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
Roman Edwards gave TU an early lead as she punched in a goal from 20 yards out off an assist from Camille Pelley at the 7:54 mark. In the second half, Bradi Hinch picked up the ball inside the box and scored from 13 yards out unassisted, while Katelyn Admire tallied a goal in the 75th minute off a pass from Jordan O'Brien.
Hinch had a team-best four shots, including two on goal, while Claire Nicholson had two attempts. Hayley Harryman logged over 58 minutes in goal, while Marleigh Essler played the remainder of the contest between the posts.
The Golden Hurricane outshot the Bronchos 11-0 and had two corner kicks in the contest.
Tulsa will open up the regular season on Friday, August 23rd against Houston Baptist. Game time is set for 7:30 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
