Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's soccer team will host an exhibition match at 2:00 p.m. this Saturday against Northwestern (La.) State at the recently opened Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium. There is no charge for admission.

Tulsa returns 14 letterwinners, including nine starters and welcomes five newcomers to the 2003 roster. The Western Athletic Conference all-conference duo of sophomores Danielle Fauteux and Jamie German returns to spearhead the Golden Hurricane attack this fall. Fauteux led the team in scoring with 11 goals and three assists for 25 points and was named to the all-WAC first team, to the 2002 Soccer Buzz Central Region All-Freshman team and was also selected to the (NSCAA) Central Region Third Team. German was second on the team in goals scoring with five goals and eight assists for 18 points. She was named to the all-WAC second team.

Other returning starters include seniors Keely Flynn and Staci Morgan, along with junior Holly Lorman, and sophomores Gina Gaston, Ashley Rickner, Carrie Schnarre and Kelly Wilson.

The Golden Hurricane will play its first season at its new home, the Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium in 2003. TU will host Stephen F. Austin in the season opener for both teams on Friday, Aug. 29 at 5:00 p.m.

Tulsa's Damon Gore begins his fifth season as the head coach of the Golden Hurricane in 2003. In four seasons, Gore has an overall record of 37-33-7 and a WAC mark of 14-13-2.
