Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's soccer team will host 13th-ranked Notre Dame on Friday, August 24th, beginning at 7:30 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, while all youth (under 8th grade) wearing a soccer jersey get in free.

The game can be seen and heard live on TulsaHurricane.com on Hurricane Vision as Bruce Howard provides play-by-play for the video stream.

TU, which returns 18 letterwinners, including 10 starters from last season's team, is off to a 1-0 start this year after topping Weber State, 3-0, in the season opener. Rebecca Handley netted two goals, while Claire Nicholson recorded one goal and Katie Bykowski picked up the shutout with three saves.¬¬

Notre Dame returns just 10 letterwinners and six starters from last year's team that posted a 10-8-3 overall record. The Fighting Irish, which are three-time National Champions (1995, 2004 and 2010), dropped a 1-0 decision to Wisconsin for their season opener on the road. Notre Dame is coached by former TU men's and women's soccer coach Randy Waldrum (1989-1994).

The Fighting Irish have won both previous meetings with TU, including a 7-1 decision a year ago and a 2-0 mark in 2000. Notre Dame was ranked seventh and second, respectively, at the time of those contests.
