Tulsa Women's Soccer Team Hosts Gonzaga on Friday

The Tulsa women's soccer team returns home to host Gonzaga on Friday, August 30th beginning at 7:30 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, while all youth (under 8th grade) wearing a soccer jersey get in free.
The Golden Hurricane started the season with a 2-0 record, topping Houston Baptist at home (2-1) and Missouri State in a double-overtime battle (1-0) in Springfield, Mo., last week. After just two games, TU has outshot its opponents 30-8, including a 16-5 lead in shots on goal, and taken three-times as many corner kicks (9-3).
Darienne Chapman, Camille Pelley and Bradi Hinch have each netted one goal for Tulsa, while Hayley Harryman has logged all 193:13 between the posts and picked up four saves. Claire Nicholson, Jordan O'Brien and Alexa Sidorakis have each had five shots, while Lindsay Kirch and Hinch have had four attempts.
The Bulldogs (1-0) are coaches by Amy Edwards, who played at TU from 1988-91 and coached the Hurricane from 1995-98. Gonzaga started the season with a 1-0 win over Eastern Michigan as Mikayla Anderson scored the lone goal of the season in the 41st minute.
This will be the first meeting between TU and GU on the women's soccer pitch.
