Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's soccer team was ranked seventh in the National Soccer Coaches Association of American Continental Tire Division I Central Region poll, as announced by the same publication.

The Golden Hurricane has started the season with a 2-0 mark, including a 2-1 win over Houston Baptist and a 1-0 double-overtime win against Missouri State.

TU continues play tonight against Gonzaga. Game time is set for 7:30 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.

Baylor, which is ranked 11th nationally, leads the central region poll, followed by West Virginia, Texas Tech, Stephen F. Austin, Texas, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Oklahoma, North Texas and UAB.
