Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's soccer team will open its 2000 home slate this Sunday at 12:00 p.m. against the Southwest Missouri State Bears at McAuliffe Field (6501 S. Garnett).

Tulsa (2-1-1) enters the game as the ninth-ranked team in the Central Region and received a vote for consideration to be ranked among the nation's top-25 in last week's American Soccer Writers' NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Top-25 poll. TU will look to avenge last year's loss to the Bears in the season opener in Tulsa. The Hurricane leads the overall series with SMS, 3-1.

Southwest Missouri State (2-3) comes into the Tulsa game having dropped its last two contests after opening the season with a 2-1 mark.
