Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa Golden Hurricane women's soccer team will host the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. this Friday at McAuliffe Field (6501 S. Garnett) in the Fourth Annual Mazzio's T-Town Shootout. Admission to the event is free.

TU enters the contest 3-1-1 overall, while ORU is 5-2 this season. The Golden Hurricane leads the overall series, 9-0-1, since the teams first met in 1988. In last year's game, Julie Davidson nailed the game-winning goal in double overtime to secure the win for Tulsa. The Golden Eagles enter the contest currently riding a five game win streak.

In the latest American Soccer Writers' NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Top-25 poll, Tulsa received two votes for consideration to be ranked among the nation's top-25 teams. Last week, TU received one vote for top-25 consideration. Western Athletic Conference rival SMU is ranked No. 19. Tulsa and SMU are the only two teams from the WAC to receive a ranking or a vote in this week's poll.

For the third straight week, Tulsa is ranked ninth among the Central Region's top-10 teams. Tulsa has been ranked since the first week of the season. A total of three teams from the Central Region are nationally ranked including Nebraska, Texas A&M and SMU.
