Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's soccer team will play its first game at the Donna J. Hardesty Sports Complex this Friday at 7:30 p.m. when the Hurricane hosts Arkansas-Little Rock in a non-conference match. Admission to the event is free.

Tulsa (10-5-1, 5-2 WAC) will look to add to its four-game win streak against the Trojans. The Hurricane completed the 2000 Western Athletic Conference season as the regular season runner-up. TU is ranked 10th in the Central Region in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) rankings.

With the opening of the Donna J. Hardesty Sports Complex, Tulsa will play all of its home games on grass and on campus for the first time in its 13-year history. The TU-UALR matchup will mark the first time the Hurricane has hosted a home contest on the TU campus since the second game of the 1999 campaign. Tulsa played its previous five home games this season at McAuliffe Field. Prior to the 1998 season, Tulsa played all of its home games on the artificial turf of Skelly Stadium.

UALR 4-14, 1-6 Sun Belt) enters the TU contest on a nine-game skid. The Trojans last victory was against Harding University on Sept. 20. The Hurricane owns a 10-1-1 advantage in the overall series, which began in 1987. The last time TU and UALR met was in 1995. In that game, the Hurricane defeated the Trojans, 4-1, in Little Rock.

Junior Melissa McCormick is just one assist shy of Tulsa's single-season assist record with six on the season. McCormick will look to tie the school record of seven, which is held by seven other Hurricane players on the single-season list.
