Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's soccer team will take on East Carolina in the first round of the Conference USA Championship, hosted by UTEP in El Paso, Texas, on Wednesday, Oct. 31st. Game time is set for 2:30 pm Central.

ECU earned the No. 4 seed with a 10-6-3 overall record and a 6-2-3 mark in C-USA, while TU is the No. 5 seed with an 11-5-3 overall mark and a 6-3-2 league record. The Golden Hurricane and Pirates battled to a 0-0 double overtime tie earlier this season, but ECU has a 5-1-1 advantage in the all-time series.

According to the latest NCAA statistics, Tulsa ninth in saves percentage (.867), 30th in goals-against average (.707), 66th in scoring offense (1.84) and shutout percentage (.421), and 69th in won-lost-tied percentage (.658). Individually, Katie Bykowski is eighth in saves percentage (.882) and 17th in goals-against average (.58), while Claire Hulcer is 37th in total assists (8) and 42nd in assists per game (.44).

Leading the attack is senior Rebecca Handley with seven goals and one assist for 15 points, while Camille Pelley, Claire Nicholson and Stephanie Aitken each have five goals. Bykowski and Hayley Harryman have split time in goal this season, combining for 91 saves and eight shutouts.

The Pirates are led by Chrissy Gratz with six goals and two assists for 14 points. Hali Oughton and Lexi Miller have three goals each, while three others have two goals on the season. Christiane Cordero has logged over 1,700 minutes in goal, has 85 saves and 10 shutouts this year.
