Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's soccer team returns home to host UTSA in the final regular season contest beginning at 7:00 pm on Thursday, Oct. 31st at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, while all youth (under 8th grade) wearing a soccer jersey get in free.

After the Tulsa-UTSA game, TU will honor seniors Hayley Harryman, Bradi Hinch, Lindsay Kirch, Claire Nicholson, Jordan O'Brien, Camille Pelley, Tori Peters and Miranda Zoller. The eight seniors have helped the Golden Hurricane record 39 wins and advance to the Conference USA Championship the last two seasons, including an appearance in the league finals a year ago.

The Golden Hurricane has a 9-6-3 overall record and a 3-3-3 mark in Conference USA, but will have to beat UTSA to advance to the Conference USA Championship hosted by Rice next week. TU has netted 23 goals and 23 assists for 69 points, and rank among the nation's top-50 in two categories, including 21st in shutout percentage (.556) and 47th in goals-against average (.797).

Hinch has tallied six goals, Pelley and Nicholson have scored three goals, and O'Brien, Lana Bermel and Caitlin Jancuska have each recorded two goals on the year to lead Tulsa. Harryman has played the majority of minutes in goal, totaling 57 saves and nine shutouts this season.

 

 

UTSA has a 5-11-2 overall record and a 4-3-2 mark in Conference USA. The Roadrunners are led by Anissa Munson and Happy Orere-Amadu with three goals apiece, while Taylor Wingerden, Brianna Livecchi and Kauwela Neal have tallied two goals each. Bubba Makela has logged the majority of minutes in goal, recorded 82 saves and earned six shutouts.

This will be the first meeting between TU and the Roadrunners on the women's soccer pitch.
