Four Tulsa Women's Soccer Players Named to C-USA All-Academic Teams

Irving, Texas - Claire Hulcer, Bradi Hinch, Claire Nicholson and Shelby Martin were all named to Conference USA All-Academic teams, as announced today by the league office. Hulcer was a first team honoree, while Hinch, Nicholson and Martin were selected to the second team. Hulcer, a junior defender from St. Louis, Mo., maintains a 3.93 GPA in marketing. She started all 21 games this season, and had three goals and four assists for 10 points. Hulcer helped TU post 11 shutouts this season for a school record for shutouts in a season, as well as a school-best five straight shutouts. She picked up second team all-C-USA accolades earlier this week, and was named to the Tulsa Dean's List and was a C-USA All-Academic Medalist as a sophomore. A sophomore midfielder from Tulsa, Okla., Hinch has a 4.0 GPA in arts and sciences. She started in 20 of 21 games this season, and had two goals and two assists for six points. Hinch was named to the Tulsa President's List and was a C-USA All-Academic Medalist as a freshman. Nicholson, a sophomore forward from Overland Park, Kan., maintains a 3.75 GPA in exercise sports science. She started in 15 of 17 games this year, and had five goals, including two game-winners, and four assists for a team-leading 14 points. Nicholson was tabbed to the all-C-USA third team earlier this week, and was named to the Tulsa Deans List and was a C-USA Academic Medalist as a freshman. A sophomore midfielder from Tulsa, Okla., Martin has a 4.0 GPA in arts and sciences. She played in 11 games, and had one goal for two points.
