Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Freshman (2012): Played in 43 games with 29 starts at first base ... C-USA All-Freshman Team selection ... hit .143 with a .282 on-base percentage, .233 slugging percentage, seven RBI, four extra base hits, six runs scored and 14 walks ... had a .990 fielding percentage with 199 putouts and just two errors all season in 204 chances ... worked her way into the starting lineup immediately with 20 starts in the first 23 games, and was a key player at the end of the season ... had four hits in her final 11 at-bats (.364) with a home run and two runs in her last 10 games ... homered in Tulsa's C-USA Tournament win over Southern Miss (5/10) ... had a hit in the NCAA Regional vs. No. 4 Oklahoma (5/19) ... drove in a run vs. Houston (4/21; G2) ... was 2-for-3 with an RBI at UCF (3/11) ... had a hit and scored a run vs. North Texas (3/2), and had a hit and drove in a run vs. Loyola Chicago (3/3) ... drove in runs vs. Mississippi Valley State (2/11) and Rutgers (2/12) on the first weekend of the season.
High School: A four-year letterwinner in softball at Oakville Senior High School ... as a senior, she led her team to the Missouri State Championship, earning all-state honors after hitting .536, with .606 on-base percentage and a .917 slugging percentage with 45 hits, 14 doubles and 35 RBI ... three-time first-team all-state infielder, and was a second-team all-state selection as a freshman ... also lettered three times in track and field and twice in basketball
