High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at Liberty-Eylau High School ... pitched her team to the Class 3A State title game as a junior on her way to first team Texas All-State honors ... also earned Texas all-state honorable mention as a sophomore, and was named the Texarkana Gazette All-Area Player of the Year as a junior ... in 2008, posted a 25-4 record with a 0.52 ERA and 375 strikeouts in 217 innings, and also batted .385 with 23 RBI ... in 2007, went 22-3 with a 0.60 ERA and 258 strikeouts in 173 innings ... also played basketball and softball in high school.
