Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Sophomore (2012): Played in 51 games with 48 starts at first base, second base and left field ... hit .301 with 18 runs scored, 11 RBI, six doubles, a .338 on-base percentage and a .346 slugging percentage ... went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI vs. Mississippi Valley State (2/11) ... was 2-for-3 with two runs vs. Rutgers (2/12) ... went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run vs. Florida A&M (2/25) ... was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI in two games vs. North Texas and Austin Peay (3/2) ... got a hit in seven consecutive games from March 17-28, and doubled and scored two runs vs. East Carolina (3/17; G2) and scored twice with an RBI vs. East Carolina (3/18) ... went 2-for-3 with a double vs. No. 25 New Mexico (3/31) ... was 3-for-5 in a doubleheader vs. Houston (4/21) ... had two RBI and scored a run vs. UTEP (4/29) ... ended the season on a six-game hit streak, from the May 10 C-USA Tournament contest vs. Southern Miss (two hits) through the NCAA Region game vs. No. 24 Oregon State (two hits) ... scored a run in the C-USA semifinal win over Houston (5/11), and in the NCAA Regional opening round win over No. 24 Oregon State (5/18).
Freshman (2011): Played in 55 games with 46 starts at second base and in left field, including starts in left field in each of the last 38 contests ... was a second-team All-Conference USA and C-USA All-Freshman Team selection ... batted .295 with 38 hits, 13 RBI, 21 runs scored, two doubles, a triple, one home run, four walks, a .336 on-base percentage and a .349 slugging percentage ... had a .976 fielding percentage with 60 putouts, 20 assists and just two errors ... in C-USA play, hit .355 with nine RBI and 10 runs ... had multiple hits in nine games, multiple runs in three games and multiple RBI in five games ... went 2-for-3 and scored a run in her first collegiate contest vs. Northern Illinois (2/11) ... went 2-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs vs. Centenary (2/26) ... was 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run vs. Marshall (3/12; 1) ... was 2-for-4 with a stolen base, two RBI and two runs at Memphis (4/3) ... went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and two RBI vs. UAB (4/22; 1) ... went 3-for-3 with two runs at UTEP (5/7; 2) ... had a double, a walk, two RBI and a run in the C-USA Tournament vs. Marshall (5/12).
