TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa softball team travels to Waco, Texas, this weekend for the QTI Getterman Classic hosted by Baylor at Getterman Stadium.
The Golden Hurricane begins with a game Friday at 10 a.m. against Texas-Arlington and at 1 p.m. against Wichita State. Saturday, TU plays UTEP at 12:30 p.m. and Baylor at 3 p.m. The Hurricane closes the tournament with an 11 a.m. game Sunday against Central Arkansas.

Tulsa (2-3) is hitting .315 (45-for-143) on the season with 27 runs, 27 RBI, seven doubles, three home runs, 23 walks, a .427 slugging percentage and a .411 on-base percentage. TU pitchers carry a 2.97 ERA in 33.0 innings, allowing 25 hits, 17 runs, 14 earned runs, 21 walks and 48 strikeouts, and a .202 opponent batting average.
Tulsa is led in hitting by senior right fielder Lauren Lindsay who is hitting .667 (10-for-15) with seven runs, five RBI, one double, two home runs, five walks, a 1.133 slugging percentage, and a .714 on-base percentage. Sophomore left fielder Jessica Stoelke is hitting .417 (5-for-12) with three runs, one RBI, one doubles, one walk, a .500 slugging percentage and a .462 on-base percentage. Freshman shortstop Samantha Cobb is hitting .412 (7-for-17) with five runs, six RBI, one home runs, two walks, a .588 slugging percentage and a .474 on-base percentage.
In the circle, junior Jordan Kinard is 1-0 with a 0.58 ERA and has allowed three hits, one run, 12 walks, 22 strikeouts and a .081 opponent batting average in 12.0 innings.
UT-Arlington (4-1) is hitting .252 (33-for-131) with 20 runs, 19 RBI, five doubles, one triple, three home runs, seven walks, a .374 slugging percentage, and a .298 on-base percentage. UTA pitchers carry a 4.88 ERA in 33.0 innings, allowing 37 hits, 36 runs, 33 earned runs, 22 walks, 21 strikeouts and a .291 opponent batting average.

Wichita State (1-1) enters the weekend hitting .244 (11-for-45) with six runs, five RBI, one double, two walks, a .267 slugging percentage, and a .333 on-base percentage. WSU pitchers carry a .720 ERA in 11.2 innings, allowing 12 hits, 12 runs, 12 earned runs, five walks, six strikeouts and a .273 opponent batting average.
UTEP (2-3) enters the weekend hitting .333 (44-for-132) with 38 runs, 37 RBI, eight doubles, one triple, seven home runs, and 17 walks. UTEP pitchers carry a 5.68 ERA in 28.1 innings, allowing 37 hits, 30 runs, 23 earned runs, 14 walks and 45 strikeouts.
Baylor (2-3) is hitting .215 (29-for-135) with 21 runs, 17 RBI, three doubles, six home runs, 14 walks, a .370 slugging percentage and a .298 on-base percentage. Baylor pitchers carry a .292 ERA in 35.0 innings allowing 30 hits, 14 runs, eight earned runs, 11 walks, 43 strikeouts and a .226 opponent batting average.
Central Arkansas (3-2) is hitting .250 (21-for-84) with 12 runs, 10 RBI, six doubles, two home runs, five walks, .393 slugging percentage, and a .292 on-base percentage. UCA pitchers carry a 2.37 ERA in 20.2 innings, allowing 27 hits, 14 runs, seven earned runs, three walks, 17 strikeouts and a .314 opponent batting average.
Tulsa trails UT-Arlington in the all-time series, 7-6. TU also trails Wichita State, 18-15, and Baylor, 5-1. The Golden Hurricane owns winning records over UTEP, 17-3, and UCA, 5-0.
