Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa softball squad will open Western Athletic Conference play on Saturday with a doubleheader against Loyola Marymount at home beginning at noon. The games will be played at Charles Page High School Softball Field in Sand Springs, Okla.

The Lions hold a 5-1 advantage in the overall series with TU, including three wins out of four games last season. It will be the first trip to Tulsa for LMU. The Golden Hurricane ranks second in the WAC with 13 home runs, the most by a TU team since the 1996 squad hit 21. LMU leads the conference in stolen bases with 41 steals on the season.

The series will conclude on Monday, April 16, with a double header starting at noon as well.
