Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa softball squad will close out the 2001 campaign with a four-game home stand against No. 16 Fresno State in Western Athletic Conference action this weekend, May 11-12.

The Bulldogs own a 15-0 advantage in the overall series with the Hurricane, all have come since TU joined the WAC for the 1997 season. The series will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday with a double header. The two teams will play another double header on Saturday afternoon, beginning at 1 p.m. as well. All four games will be played at the Charles Page High School Softball Field in Sand Springs, Okla.

Saturday will mark the final collegiate contests for two Tulsa seniors, Kari Curtis (Stillwater, Okla.) and Ann Mesman (Los Banos, Calif.). A special presentation will take place before the first game on Saturday.
