TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa softball team is ranked No. 18/19 in the final national Top 25 polls, capping its record-setting 2014 season with the highest final national rankings in program history.

The Golden Hurricane appears at No. 18 in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 and No. 19 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll. TU last ended a season with a top-25 ranking in 2011 when it finished 24th in the NFCA poll.

The Hurricane played within one win of advancing to the Super Regionals, and set 19 team single season school records. The list of records includes: wins, fewest losses, batting average (.325), runs (368), hits (553), RBI (333), home runs (59), slugging percentage (.504), on-base percentage (.404), pitching strikeouts (479) and opponent batting average (.183).
