Lenka Broosova was named to The University of Tulsa women's tennis coaching staff in June 2014. Before coming to Tulsa, Broosova spent the last two years volunteering with high school group "Hi-League" in Wheaton, Illinois.
Broosova was a four-year letterwinner at Baylor University from 2007-10, where she posted an overall 154-28 (.846) singles record and a 103-36 (.741) doubles mark. She was named the 2010 Big 12 Women's Tennis Player of the Year.
The Banska Bystrica, Slovakia native earned four-time All-Big 12 Singles and Doubles honors and was a three-time NCAA Doubles All-American from 2008-10 and was a two-year NCAA Singles All-American in 2008 and 2010.
Broosova advanced to the NCAA Singles Championship Elite Eight in 2009 and 2010 and advanced to the NCAA Doubles Championship Final Four in 2009.
Broosova was named the 2007 International Tennis Association Region Rookie of the Year in 2007 as she posted a 37-8 singles and a 25-11 doubles records in her freshman year.
She led the Bears to its first No. 1 ranking in school history in 2010 and to four Big 12 Championships. Baylor advanced to the NCAA Championships in each season and the Final Four in 2009, the Elite Eight in 2008 and 2010 and the Sweet Sixteen in 2007.
After her college playing days, Broosova was the director of tennis operations at Baylor from 2010-11. Broosova played tennis as a professional player from 2010-11 and won tournaments in Bolivia and Colombia.
Broosova graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication in May 2010.
