TULSA – A two-year letterwinner . . . has a singles record of 51-51 and a doubles mark of 41-26 . . . ranks eighth on the school’s career wins list for singles. FALL OF 2001 – Recorded a 5-6 singles record and a 2-2 doubles mark. JUNIOR (2000-01) – Completed the season with a 14-19 singles record and a 10-13 doubles mark . . . was an all-WAC singles second team performer . . . posted a 5-7 singles mark and a 4-5 doubles mark in the fall . . . competed in singles at the T. Rowe Price National Clay Courts and the All-American Championships . . . advanced to the quarterfinals of the USD/SDSU Tournament . . . with partner, Aleksandra Durska, won two matches before losing in the semifinals of the USD/SDSU Tournament. SOPHOMORE (1999-00) – Completed her first season at Tulsa with a 21-17 overall singles mark, including a 7-6 record at the top singles position . . . was one of four players to reach the 20-win plateau . . . won seven of her last eight singles contests to conclude the regular season . . . was 22-9 in doubles with three different partners . . . posted a mark of 18-4 with Aleksandra Durska . . . won her first match against a nationally-ranked player when she defeated #44 Dorrit Huppes of TCU, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 . . . was 17-4 at the bottom doubles spot and 1-0 at the No. 2 position with Durska . . . the duo led the team in doubles wins and captured their last eight doubles matches . . . completed the fall season with a 7-4 singles record and a 7-7 doubles mark . . . won two matches at the Lady Razorback Invitational, the UH Fall Classic and the Hurricane Invitational . . . advanced to the Flight “B” singles final at the Lady Razorback Invitational . . . finished in the finals of the Flight #2 singles at the Hurricane Invitational. PRIOR TO TULSA – Played collegiate tennis at Arkansas State University . . . received all-Sun Belt Conference honors after leading the Lady Indians to a third-place finish and 12-8 overall record . . . recorded an 11-10 mark at the No. 1 singles position and posted a 7-2 doubles record at the top doubles spot. HIGH SCHOOL – Was a member of Mexico’s National team and ranked as high as seventh in her country . . . was a five-year member of the national team (1994-98) . . . captured third-place for Mexico at the World Cup . . . attended New Braunfels High School. PERSONAL – An art major . . . one of three children of Antonio Posada and Sally Abbott . . . born March 24, 1979.
