Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

SOPHOMORE (2011-12) - Collected a 32-6 singles record and a 23-10 doubles mark, playing at the second position . . . recorded the third-most singles wins in a single season in school history . . . named to the all-C-USA Singles First Team . . . honored as the 2012 ITA Central Region Player to Watch . . . a league high three-time recipient of Conference USA Athlete of the Week laurels . . . won the 2011 ITA Central Region Singles Championship and competed at the 2011 USTA/ITA National Indoor Singles Championship . . . earned victories over No. 65 Sonja Molnar of Iowa, No. 74 Caroline Rohde-Moe of Ole Miss, No. 80 Mariya Slupska of Memphis and No. 94 Karla Bonacic of Kansas State . . . had win streaks of 11, nine and seven . . . was 27-4 in two-set matches . . . reached a career-high singles rank of No. 63 Jan. 3.
FRESHMAN (2010-11) - Joined Tulsa in the spring and finished her rookie campaign with a 21-1 singles record and a 9-1 mark in doubles . . . ended the year on a 19-match win streak in singles, while conceding just one set in that dominant stretch . . . also ended the year on a nine-match win streak in doubles with teammate Bonny Davidson . . . was named the Conference USA Freshman of the Year . . . earned a spot on the all-C-USA Singles Second Team . . . won all six of her matches at the 2011 Conference USA Championship . . . posted a 4-0 mark in the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship . . . picked up the lone point for TU against No. 10 Michigan in the NCAA Second Round with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Rika Tatsuno at No. 5 singles.
