TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team won eight singles matches and six doubles matches at the Hurricane Invite at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Friday.

Samantha Vickers, ranked No. 48, defeated Nikol Hristova of Old Dominion 6-0, 6-0 on Friday in singles, while Isaura Enrique fell to Niki Khmolovska of Old Dominion 7-5, 6-1.

Vickers faces Veronica Popovici of Wyoming on Saturday and Kseniya Bardabush of North Texas on Sunday, while Enrique faces Jessica Parizher of Wyoming on Saturday and Alexis Thoma of North Texas on Sunday.

The doubles duo of Vickers and Enrique won both doubles matches on Friday with a 6-2 win over Bardabush and Thoma of North Texas and Popovici and Dorottya Jonas of Wyoming 6-4 in the blue doubles draw.

Vickers and Enrique face Hristova and Melissa Esnal Olguin of Old Dominion on Saturday morning.

Yelena Nemchen, ranked No. 47, defeated Ingrid Vojcinakova of Old Dominion on Friday 6-2, 7-5, while Renata Kuricova defeated Faith Atiso of Old Dominion 6-0, 6-0.

Nemchen faces Jonas of Wyoming on Saturday and Anastasiya Shestakova of North Texas on Sunday, while Kuricova faces Alma Espinosa of Wyoming on Saturday and Dane Joubert of North Texas on Sunday.

Nemchen and Kuricova paired up to win both doubles matches on Friday with a 6-2 win over Shestakova and Kamilla Galieva of North Texas and a 6-3 win over Silviya Zhelyazkova and Christa Gecheva of Wyoming in the brown doubles draw.

Kuricova and Nemchen face Kholovska and Ivana Vukovic of Old Dominion on Saturday morning.

Rongrong Leenabanchong defeated Vukovic of Old Dominion 6-1, 6-2 on Friday, while Maria Sant'Anna defeated Melissa Esnal Olguin of Old Dominion 7-6 (4), 3-6, 1-0 (8).

Leenabanchong faces Gecheva of Wyoming on Saturday and Galieva of North Texas on Sunday, while Sant'Anna faces Alena Vasileva of Wyoming on Saturday and Ana Sofia Cordero on Sunday.

The doubles team of Sant'Anna and Leenabanchong defeated Parizher and Vasileva of Wyoming 7-5, but fell to Joubert and Agustina Valenzuela of North Texas 7-6.

The duo faces Vojcinakova and Marijana Novajovic of Old Dominion on Saturday morning.

Saana Saarteinen defeated Novakovic of Old Dominion 6-1, 7-6 (5) on Friday, while Marcelina Cichon defeated Espinosa of Wyoming 6-0, 6-2.

Saarteinen faces Zhelyazkova of Wyoming on Saturday and Valenzuela of North Texas on Sunday, while Cichon faces Joubert of North Texas on Saturday and Atiso of Old Dominion on Sunday.

The doubles duo of Saarteinen and Cichon defeated TU teammate Carol Benito and Old Dominion player Atiso 7-5 and faces Espinosa and Joubert of Wyoming on Saturday morning.

Benito defeated Joubert of North Texas 7-5, 6-1 on Friday and faces Atiso of Old Dominion on Saturday and Espinosa of Wyoming on Sunday.

Benito partnered up with Old Dominion's Atiso in the doubles competition and fell to TU's doubles team of Saarteinen and Cichon and to North Texas' doubles team of Espinosa and Sofia Cordero.
