Tulsa Women Top Indiana State 4-3

Tulsa won the doubles point for the fourth straight match, and has won the point in eight of the nine matches this season. TU swept the doubles match-ups with Santi Delport and Marta Marcinkowska notching an 8-4 win over Jennifer Migan and Joane Schnickerling at the one position. Kindsay Grimes and Carla Zabaleta clinched the doubles at the two spot with an 8-4 win over Kelly Hamm and Ariane Masschelein. Thalia Diaz-Barriga and Jie Zeng completed the sweep with an 8-7 win over the Sycamore's Sarah Galparoli and Fadzai Masiyazi.
ISU knotted the score at 1-1 when Schnickerling outlasted Barriga 6-1, 6-2, but TU retook the lead when Zabaleta notched a 6-3, 6-1 defeat of the Sycamore's Galparoli.
Indiana State again drew even when Migan collected a 6-1, 6-4 win over Delport, but the Golden Hurricane took the lead for good on the strength of Jenna Webster defeating Hamm 6-3, 7-5.
TU clinched the match with the next finish as Agostina Santoro bested Masiyazi 7-5, 6-1.
ISU set the final of 4-3 when Messchelein handed Tulsa's Grimes a 6-4, 7-6 (10) defeat.
Tulsa will be back in action on February 23 when it hosts Wichita State at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
