Tulsa Women's Tennis Team Falls, 4-3, to 63rd-ranked Boston College

Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts -The University of Tulsa women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to 63rd-ranked Boston College on Tuesday afternoon in Chestnut Hill, Mass. TU owns a 9-6 record this season.
Golden Hurricane senior Daniela Muscolino dropped a 6-2, 6-4 mark to Szilvia Szegedi in the No. 1 slot, as junior Santie Delport tallied a 7-6, 6-4 win over Dasha Cherkasov in the No. 2 position. The Eagles' 98th-ranked Lana Krasnopolsky registered a quick 6-0, 6-1 victory over freshman Thalia Diaz-Barriga in the No. 3 slot.
In the bottom half of the lineup, TU's Tiffany Smith fell, 6-1, 6-1, in the No. 4 position. Junior Kindsay Grimes captured a 6-1, 7-6 (6) win over Sarah Svoboda in the No. 5 slot, while sophomore Agostina Santoro claimed a 6-7, 7-5, 6-2 comeback victory in the No. 6 position.
The Golden Hurricane dropped both matches in doubles play.
Tulsa will take a week off before facing Oklahoma State on Wednesday, March 22nd at 2:00 p.m. in Stillwater, Okla.
