#1 Tracy Lin/Riza Zalameda (UCLA)

#1 Tracy Lin/Riza Zalameda (UCLA) def. Megan Moulton-Levy/Katarina Zoricic (William and Mary) 7-5, 6-2
About the match...
Riza Zalameda
"It was a really solid match for us today. It was definitely testing us against the wind. We played smart and executed today."

Tracey Lin
"They are a different team, Megan (Moulton-Levy) is definitely very aggressive at the net and she is probably one of the more aggressive players in the nation. We were able to use our lobs and that allowed us to fend her off. We played really smart."

About losing in singles and then playing in a doubles match...
Riza Zalameda
"After I lost my match I was very disappointed because I wanted to do well in singles. I came to this tournament looking to do well in singles and doubles. I took a nap and changed clothes and I felt fresh out there with Tracy. I felt like it was a new day and a new tournament. I am happy to be out there again on the court. I get another shot at it."

#2 Melanie Gloria/Tinesta Rowe (Fresno St.)

#2 Melanie Gloria/Tinesta Rowe (Fresno St.) def. #5-8 Amanda Granson/Melissa Mang (Duke), 6-4, 6-4
On the match...
Tinesta Rowe
"I say today we went out there and we played really well today with the wind and everything. Our serves were good and we got our first serve returns in and we actually made them play a lot of balls today. We executed well and overall we did a good job."

Melanie Gloria
"We played very good. We were aggressive, both at the net and at the back. They had to play very good to beat us today and we played very good too, so."

On two Fresno State teams making the semifinals...
Tinesta Rowe
"It's a great feeling actually because that's a goal. We want to be there with both of us in the finals and make history. Two Fresno State teams in the final, what could be better than that. Both of us could be there just having fun, playing doubles. It's just all about getting through our match tomorrow and then we're both there. One day at a time."

Melanie Gloria
"We're playing good. Both of our teams are playing good. They play number two for our team and they are in the semis. I think that's awesome. If we can both be in the finals, that would be awesome."

#3 Kelcy Tefft/Brook Buck (Notre Dame)

#3 Kelcy Tefft/Brook Buck (Notre Dame) def. #5-8 Amanda Fink/Gabriela Niculescu (USC), 4-6, 6-3, 6-0
On the match...
Brook Buck
"I think one thing, especially starting in the second set, is we started enjoying ourselves and having fun. We were just out there to play. I think it's easier to play to win like that whenever we're having fun and relaxed. But, yet, very aggressive and very intense at the same time. It's a fine balance and I think we found that today."

Kelcy Tefft
"I think that it's easier for us to enjoy ourselves even when we are losing because we've been best friends for 10 years. So, I think that's beneficial for us because we know so much about each other. We can make each other laugh. I think that's one thing we have that a lot of teams don't. We have a very good understanding of each other."

On the slow starts to the match...
Kelcy Tefft
"Yesterday we were really tight at the first and our first set today was 20 times better than our first set yesterday. We laughed a lot, but yesterday we were definitely tight. I would say we just got loose and started laughing at things."

Renata Kucerkova/Anastasia Petukhova (Fresno St.)

Renata Kucerkova/Anastasia Petukhova (Fresno St.) def. #4 Ani Mijacika/Carol Salge (Clemson), 6-2, 6-7 (3), 6-4
On the match...
Renata Kucerkova
"We went into the match with the goal of fighting hard and winning. I think we started well. They caught up a little bit in the second set, so it was a battle. Then we got in control at the end of the third set and we won and I think it was a really good match."

Simon Thibodeau
"I think Clemson had a little bit of a slow start and played much better in the second. It was tight. It was 7-6 in the second and it could have gone either way. It was a good battle and I think we played a little bit better at a tough time when we were down 4-3. We broke and held serve, then broke again and it was a good three games there at the end and we played tough."

Anastasia Petukhova
"I'm happy we won and that two Fresno State teams are in the semifinals. So we show everybody that we are tough in doubles and you better watch out for us. We're just looking forward to tomorrow with two more matches to go, so we're going to stay tough no matter what." On two Fresno State teams making the semifinals...

Anastasia Petukhova
"We're still staying focused. It's exciting, but we're still focused on tomorrow and they are still playing right now so probably they will be tired as well. So it will be a matter of who wants it more and who plays better."
