NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team had multiple positive results on the final day of the Sooner Fall Invitational Sunday.

Freshman Anamaria Candanoza advanced to the title match of the Singles D Draw, and she took second after falling to Monika Hadvigerova of UT-Arlington 6-2, 6-4.

Junior Bonny Davidson saw success in her final match of Singles D, dropping Amy Joubert of North Texas 6-3, 0-6, 6-1.

Junior Anastasia Erofeeva and sophomore Meredith Burns both won their final matches. Erofeeva defeated Portland's Lacey Pflibsen 6-2, 6-2 in Singles A, and Burns took down UTA's Natalia Mayuk 6-4, 6-3 in Singles B.

Junior Caroline Beaulieu fell in her last match of Singles C 6-3, 6-4 to Depaul's Christiana Raymond.

In doubles play, the tandem of Erofeeva/Davidson defeated Oklahoma's Brittany Parks/Peta Maree Lancaster 9-7 in Doubles B.

Burns/Beaulieu took down SMU's Edyta Cieplucha/Shahzoda Hatamova 8-4 in Doubles A.

The Golden Hurricane will return to action Oct. 1-3 at the Notre Dame Invite in South Bend, Ind.
