PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Two University of Tulsa women's tennis players fell in the Riviera/ITA All-American Championship on Thursday at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Doubles team of Samantha Vickers and Isuara Enrique fell in the first round of the main draw doubles 8-4 to UCLA's doubles team of Robin Anderson and Jennifer Brady on Thursday morning.

Vickers fell in the first round of the main draw singles 6-2, 6-3 to the No. 2 seed Lauren Herring of Georgia on Thursday afternoon.

Carol Benito, Saana Saarteinen, Renata Kuricova, Maria Sant'Anna and Dobby Leenabanchong compete in the Razorback Invite that starts on Friday and finishes on Sunday.

Saarteinen and Kuricova plays in the U.S. Open Flight. Saarteinen plays Alyssa Hibberd of Memphis, while Kuricova plays Shannon Hudson of Arkansas.

Sant'Anna and Leenabanchong plays in the Wimbledon Flight. Sant'Anna plays Anki Wind of Memphis, while Leenabanchong plays Flavia Araujo of Arkansas.

Benito plays in the French Open Flight and has a first round bye.

The doubles team of Sant'Anna and Leenabanchong receives a first round bye in the Australian Open. Also, competing in the Australian Open is doubles partner of Saarteinen and Kuricova, who plays the doubles team of Polina Konop and Tatiana Larina from Northwestern State.

Yelena Nemchen competed in a professional tournament held in Hilton Head, S.C. The freshman, ranked eighth in the tournament, won in the first round of the main draw 6-4, 6-4 to AnneLiz Jeukeng on Wednesday. Nemchen fell in the second round of the main draw 6-0, 6-1 to Maddie Pothoff on Thursday.
