TULSA, Okla. - Freshman Isaura Enrique battled her way into the Main Draw after winning two qualifying matches in the 2011 USTA/ITA Central Region Championship Thursday at the Case Tennis Center.

She was on court bright and early to defeat Mia Elmore of Saint Louis 6-2, 6-2. She then came back later in the afternoon to drop Ioana Teu of Arkansas State 6-3, 6-1.

Senior Caroline Beaulieu split her qualifying matches, starting with a 6-1, 6-1 triumph in the morning session over Bradley's Corey Mattson.

Beaulieu fell one set short of advancing to the Main Draw after she was defeated 6-0, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) by Tamera Slijepcevic of Arkansas State.

Enrique will join the rest of her teammates that automatically qualified for the Main Draw in Friday's action.

Those that will be competing are seniors Anastasia Erofeeva, Ewa Szatkowska and Bonny Davidson, junior Michelle Farley and sophomores Sam Vickers and Maria Sant'Anna.

Beaulieu will also be in action in the doubles Main Draw, and she will team with Enrique.
