Women's Tennis Falls at the USTA Collegiate Clay Courts on Friday

ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team fell at the USTA Collegiate Clay Courts on Friday.
The doubles team of No. 5-8 Yelena Nemchen and Marcelina Cichon fell to Laurence Porr and Eduarda dos Santos of Florida State with a walkover, injury, while the doubles team of Saana Saarteinen and Renata Kuricova fell to No. 5-8 Kourtney Keegan and Stefani Stojic of Florida 8-6 in the second round of the doubles on Friday.
Nemchen fell to Ashley Kitchen of Auburn 6-4, retired in the consolation singles on Friday and faces Courtney Griffin of Central Florida at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Kuricova faces Erica Oosterhuat of USTA and Saarteinen faces Caroline Eberhart of Central Florida at 8:30 a.m., while Cichon faces Mary Haffey of USTA at 9 a.m. on Saturday in the singles consolation.
