Memphis Collegiate Results Get Acrobat Reader

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team won six events on Saturday at the Memphis Collegiate Invite.

The Golden Hurricane went 5-2 in the singles matches and has three players fighting for the championship of their draws.

Senior Samantha Vickers defeated Ana Pimienta of Marquette 6-2, 6-4 and junior Isaura Enrique defeated Skylar Kuykendall of Memphis 6-3, 7-5 in the Blue Draw on Saturday. Vickers faces Kuykendall at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, while Enrique faces Pimienta at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday.

Sophomore Carol Benito defeated Kelsey Coots of Chattanooga 6-3, 6-3 in the consolation in the Black Draw on Saturday and faces Ramona Costea of Miami, OH on Sunday at noon.

Sophomore Saana Saarteinen defeated Anki Wind of Memphis 7-6 (4), 7-5, while sophomore Renata Kuricova fell to Caroline Wegner of Memphis 6-3, 6-4 in the Gray Draw on Saturday. Saarteinen faces Wegner for the Gray Draw championship on Sunday at 10:45 a.m., while Kuricova faces Wind for third place on Sunday at 10:45 a.m.

Freshman Rongrong Leenabanchong defeated Alexa Flynn of Chattanooga 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 in the White Draw on Saturday, while senior Maria Sant'Anna fell to Stefanie Mikesz of Memphis 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 on Saturday. Leenabanchong faces Mikesz in the White Draw championship on Sunday at 10:45 a.m., while Sant'Anna faces Flynn for third place on Sunday at 9:15 a.m.

The doubles team of Sant'Anna and Saarteinen defeated Emily Conrad and Nada Marjanovic of ACU 8-7 (3) on Saturday and faces Vanessa Foltinger and Laia Hernandez Soler of Marquette for the Gray Draw championship on Sunday at 8 a.m.

Both TU doubles team in the Blue Draw fell as Vickers and Enrique fell to Liza Tymchenko and Skylar Kuykendall of Memphis 8-6 and Kuricova and Leenabanchong fell to Alyssa Hibberd and Caroline Wegner of Memphis 8-5.

Vickers and Enrique face Pimienta and Erin Gebes of Marquette at 8 a.m. on Sunday, while Kuricova and Leenabanchong face Rocio Diaz and Ali Dawson at 8 a.m. on Sunday
