No. 28 TU Women's Tennis Travels to No. 31 Oklahoma State Friday

TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team continues its five-match roadstand traveling to Stillwater, Okla., to face Oklahoma State on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
Under head coach Dean Orford, No. 28 Golden Hurricane (3-1) has recorded a 6-1 mark over No. 31 Oklahoma State (0-2).
Freshman Marcelina Cichon led TU last weekend with a 2-0 singles record during the ITA Kick-off Weekend in Ann Arbor, Mich., and was named Conference USA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week.
It was her first weekly award of her career and has a seven-match winning streak. Cichon is 4-0 in team competition this season.
The Golden Hurricane has won all four doubles point this season and have two doubles team with undefeated records - Renata Kuricova/Yelena Nemchen are 4-0 and Samantha Vickers/Isaura Enrique are 3-0.
Senior Vickers picked up a win in the ITA Kick-off to move into fourth place in school history with 99 career singles wins and needs 11 singles wins to pass third place in school history.
The Lincolnshire, England native also needs two doubles wins to pass sixth place in school history. Vickers has 78 career doubles wins.
The Golden Hurricane finishes the roadstand in West Lafayette, Ind., from Feb. 8-9. TU faces Georgia State at 11 a.m. on Saturday and hosts Purdue at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
