Tulsa, Okla. - The 42nd-ranked Tulsa women's tennis team will host 55th-ranked in-state rival, Oklahoma, Thursday beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on The University of Tulsa campus. There is no charge for admission.

The Golden Hurricane enters the contest with a 3-3 record, falling to 2nd-ranked Florida, 8th-ranked Vanderbilt and 11th-ranked Tennessee. TU, however, earned victories over 28th-ranked Wake Forest, 4-3, and 57th-ranked Iowa, 5-2. This will be Tulsa's second home match of the season. In the first match, Tulsa defeated Southwest Missouri State in the season opener, 4-3, on January 26th.

Oklahoma, on the other hand, is undefeated thus far, but will face their first challenge and first ranked opponent on Thursday. OU posts a perfect record, with 7-0 wins over Oral Roberts, Southern Nazarene, Wichita State and Centenary, and a 5-0 defeat over Oklahoma Baptist.

In the match-up, TU's 20th-ranked Alicia Pillay and 102nd-ranked Aleksandra Durska will face OU's 58th-ranked Anda Perianu, as well as 36th-ranked doubles tandem, Perianu and Heather Saluri.
