Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa's women's tennis team moved up two spots in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) team rankings from No. 42 to No. 40. The men's team ranking remained unchanged at No. 23. Both Golden Hurricane squads are the highest ranked Conference USA teams. The next team ranking and individual rankings will be released on February 26.

Individual ranking were also released for the first time since January 8. Two-time All-American Arnau Brugues is ranked 38th in singles, the second highest ranked player in C-USA. Tulsa also has two ranked doubles teams, the pair of Andy Connelly and Ross Cunningham is ranked 34th, while the duo of Brugues and Ricardo Soriano is ranked 39th.

Both teams will be action this weekend. On Friday, February 22, the women's team will face the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns at 3 p.m. The Golden Hurricane men's team will also host the Ragin' Cajuns on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. In its last match of the month, the TU women's team will face the No. 26-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks.
